Fishing in the river, Kalix älv

The Kalix River is one of Sweden’s four unregulated national rivers. Here, the water flows freely without dams, allowing fish to migrate undisturbed through our wild river. Among its treasures are a unique strain of salmon and stream-dwelling pike – far stronger and more powerful than their still-water counterparts.
