Kalix is renowned for the delicacy Kalix Löjrom – and rightly so. Here, you can buy genuine Kalix Löjrom straight from the place that gave it its name. But Kalix has many other delights to offer. Think chocolate pralines infused with Kalix flavors, gin with its roots in the Kalix River, as well as fish, meat, eggs, vegetables, mushrooms, and berries – depending on the season. And if you’re lucky, you might meet one of the region’s many food producers in person, offering top-quality local ingredients straight from their van.

Galleria Kalix, located in the heart of town, features a grocery store, optician, sports shop, clothing stores, a jeweler and watchmaker, liquor store, pharmacy, kiosk and lottery retailer, as well as an ATM with cash withdrawals in both SEK and euros. You’ll also find restrooms, a children’s climbing wall, a cozy café, and a fast-food restaurant.

Park for free in Kalix
Kalix offers free parking, but you’ll need to use a parking disc, which you can pick up free of charge at Kalix Folkets Hus or at the reception desk in the Municipal Offices.
