About cookies

The website uses cookies. We use cookies to provide you with the best possible experience and to collect web statistics for the purpose of continuously improving the website. A cookie is a text file that is saved on the visitor’s computer when connecting to a website. It is very common for websites to use cookies, as they are often used for basic functions.

Two types of cookies

The first type saves a file on your computer for a longer period. It is used, for example, for features that tell you what is new since you last visited the website.
The second type of cookies is called session cookies. While you are browsing a page, this cookie is temporarily stored in your computer’s memory, for example, to keep track of the language you have selected. Session cookies are not stored on your computer for a long time; they disappear when you close your web browser.

Are cookies dangerous?

No, cookies are not dangerous. Cookies are standard text files and cannot contain viruses. The files are small, and most browsers only allow a certain amount of cookies to be stored in memory. Therefore, there is no risk of your hard drive filling up just because you allow cookies.

Can I say no to cookies?

If you do not want to allow the storage of cookies on your computer, you can turn this off in your web browser’s settings. If you do so, no cookies will be stored, but you will not be able to use certain parts of the website, and other parts of the website may not function correctly. During your first visit, you are also presented with the option to opt out of cookies.
